My newest work “Effervescence” is an hypercollage composed of over 70 individual layers. I begin by extracting an element from one of my original photographs (birds, butterflies, trees, branches) and through the magic of Photoshop weave the different elements together often changing the shape, color or intensity of the original element. It takes me two weeks to over a month to complete a single hypercollage.
